Craigslist is a good, free place to advertise your things but it doesn't guarantee a sale.

Good News: You can always continuously relist your page ads after they expire.

Bad News: I would recommend a basic knowledge of HTML codes if you are going to use craigslist. You want your infomation to be neat and organized. You will see what I mean if you experiment a little with the site.

Good News: I've posted a site for some basic HTML codes to use.

*Craigslist is a good backup source.

If you are using EBay, post some items on craigslist anyway. You will double your chance of selling. But if someone bids on the item on EBay, please remove the ad from craigslist for the sake of others.

If you are having a yard sale, advertise some great items and explain that they will be available at your upcoming yardsale. If they have time to make the trip to get it, they have time to come down to your yard sale.

*Craigslist is very easy to use. Takes two seconds to set up an account and you really don't need to fill out much.

*Please remember to put up as much information regarding your item as you can. It's very important that they get a good idea of what they are getting.
